Access Stack
Keep entry moving and see attendance as it happens.
Access Stack scans attendee tickets at the gate, checks the entry rules and records the admission in Event Base. Gate staff receive a clear result without needing to interpret the ticket themselves.

Scan and validate at the gate
The app checks that the ticket is confirmed, valid at that gate and available for entry or re-entry. The result can show the attendee name, ticket type, table, row or seat and a venue map when seating is used.
Find an attendee without the QR code
If the ticket cannot be scanned, gate staff can search by name, company, email address, table number or ticket code and check the attendee in from the result.
Print badges where needed
A confirmed check-in can send the attendee badge to a connected label printer. Events that do not print at the gate need only the tablet camera.
Watch attendance in real time
While devices are connected, admissions reach Event Base within seconds. Organisers can follow the number checked in, filter the list to people who have not arrived and review activity by gate.
When the network drops
After the event has been loaded, the tablet can continue scanning. Admissions remain on the device and synchronise when the connection returns. While offline, the gate does not receive new activity from other devices.
Questions organisers ask
- Do we need special gate hardware?
- A tablet with a camera is enough for standard scanning. A handheld scanner and label printer are optional.
- Can several gates run at the same time?
- Yes. Each tablet is assigned to a gate. When connected, their check-ins update the same event record.
- What about swipe check in?
- Access Stack is used for QR code scanning. For smaller or simpler entrances, Event Stacks can also validate a ticket by swiping on the attendee's own ticket screen. Ticketing and Registration →
- What happens when a ticket has already been used?
- The app checks the gate and re-entry rules and shows the reason when the ticket cannot be admitted again.
